Troscriptions Tro Mune™ — frequently asked questions
Is Troscriptions Tro Mune™ stocked in Australia?
Yes. Stoneage Health is an authorised Australian retailer of Troscriptions, and every pack of Tro Mune™ is stocked and shipped from Australia — no overseas wait. Free shipping on orders over $100.
How many portions are in a pack of Tro Mune™?
Four troches, each scored into quarters — up to 16 portions per pack of Tro Mune™, depending on whether you take a quarter, a half or a whole troche.
What's in Tro Mune™?
75 mg of cordycepin per troche — a naturally occurring compound first identified in Cordyceps mushroom — in a naturally sweetened, apple-flavoured base. Tro Mune™ contains no caffeine. The full panel is on the Ingredients tab.
How do I take Tro Mune™?
Park a portion between your cheek and gum and let it dissolve. Troscriptions suggest starting at night before bed, with a portion as small as a quarter troche; it can also be swallowed with very little loss of absorption, and a quarter troche can be taken in the morning if you prefer. Directions are on the How to use tab. If you take regular medication or are pregnant or nursing, check with your doctor before starting Tro Mune™.
What is a buccal troche, and why does Troscriptions use it?
A troche is a lozenge designed to dissolve slowly between the cheek and gum rather than be swallowed, so the ingredients absorb through the lining of the mouth and skip the digestive system. Troscriptions use the format across their range for compounds that are lost or slowed in the gut.
How is Tro Mune™ different from a Cordyceps mushroom powder?
Whole-mushroom Cordyceps powders carry a small and variable amount of cordycepin. Tro Mune™ uses the compound itself at a known 75 mg per troche, delivered buccally, so every portion is the same — a different product from a mushroom powder, for a different reason.
What else does Troscriptions make?
Stoneage Health stocks the Troscriptions range in Australia — including Just Blue™, also a buccal troche.
